I build websites, Discord bots, APIs and control panels that stay fast under load. From the first ping all the way to production.
Hey, I'm Evan.
Online I go by playa. I'm the developer behind Semicolab, building Discord bot ecosystems, web apps and the backends that power them.
My daily stack is Node.js and TypeScript with MariaDB and Redis underneath. Servers and infrastructure are home turf too, so your project gets built and hosted the right way.
Also: huge cat person. 🐈
Let's talk →- Node.js
- TypeScript
- Next.js
- Discord.js
- Express
- MariaDB
- Redis
What I build
Websites & Web Apps
Fast, responsive and SEO ready, built with Next.js and TypeScript.
Discord Projects
Bots, dashboards and whole ecosystems that run reliably across many servers.
APIs
Clean, documented interfaces with Node.js and Express that other systems love to talk to.
Databases & Caching
Solid MariaDB structures and Redis for real time features, queues and speed.
Control Panels
Custom admin interfaces that keep your systems, users and data under control.
Something else in mind?
If it runs on a server, I can probably build it. Tell me about it.
From ping to production.
Ping
You tell me what you need. A fresh idea, a problem to solve or a project that got stuck halfway.
Build
I plan the architecture and build in small, visible steps, so you always know where things stand.
Echo
Launch, monitoring and support afterwards, so your project keeps responding.
Shisui
A Discord card game where whole servers drop, grab and trade anime cards together. Over 23,000 characters to collect, fresh drops every few minutes.

The problem
Card bots on Discord tend to get slow at peak hours, lose drops when they restart and run out of things to chase after a week. Communities wanted a collection game that stays fast and keeps giving them a reason to come back.
The solution
Shisui drops three cards at once in any channel. Players grab, burn, trade and frame their cards, hunt five rarities from Common to Mythical and show off their collection on shisui.gg.
Under the hood
The bot runs as sharded worker clusters. An Express API talks to the shards over Socket.IO, keeps hot data in Redis and every card in MariaDB. The Next.js site serves live stats straight from that cache.
Live from the stack.
Real time latency of everything I run.
